John Wagner

An environmental entrepreneur, green consultant, green “start-up” expert, and marketing-PR specialist, John is currently full partner in an international marketing firm, Propel Marketing Group, which was just recognized as an Inc. magazine “ 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies.” PropleMG is a full-service marketing firm with clients, publicly and privately held, among the Fortune 500.

John currently works on accounts for Simpad / MiTek (Berkshire Hathaway; NYSE: BRK-A ), Site-Controls (Siemens; SIE:GY ), and UK-based Eden Biodesign (Watson Pharmaceuticals; NYSE: WPI ). John is also is the award-winning author of 12 books on green building, construction, the supply

John is also managing director (with direct P& L responsibilities) of Certified Green Dealer, LLC, a national online training and certification company that he co-founded. John was also co-founder of Green Builder Media (a venture capital-funded operation), and he was the founding editor-in-chief of Green Builder Magazine, the first national trade magazine focused on green practices for home builders. John was also executive director of corporate communications and investor relations for a well-known dot.com, BuildNet, and in 1999 was a leading member of the team that raised $147 million in multiple rounds of venture funding from Credit Suisse First Boston, SSB, and other investment banks. He has since authored private placement memorandum and helped raise venture funds for other client start-ups.
